Reading Response 3 methodology
Read the attachment and and critique sources used in the article.
Professors instructions, It is important to evaluate sources when reading an article in order to ascertain the validity. Consider what evidence the author uses to support his/her argument. When reviewing the citations consider if the evidence is based on primary sources or mostly other secondary sources. Primary sources are original documents and objects which were created at the time under studyletters, newspapers, court cases, etc. Secondary sources are is any item about an event, period, or issue in history that was produced after that event, period or issue has passedbooks or monographs, articles, etc. Identify primary source collections that the author frequently uses. How did each source help the author construct his/her argument? What sources were particularly effective? What sources seemed unrelated or did not support the authors argument?
