HONG KONG, June 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The inaugural Karen Leung Memorial Investor Conference takes place today at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong to raise awareness and funds to prevent and treat women’s gynecological cancers. Some of the most experienced and successful managers of Long-Only, Hedge Fund and Private Equity portfolios will present an investment idea at the Conference to portfolio managers, asset allocators and other investment professionals from across the region. All funds raised in connection with the Conference will be used to further the objectives of the Karen Leung Memorial Foundations to raise funds for women’s cancers education and prevention efforts, and to provide women of Hong Kong and the region access to breakthrough research and treatment options being developed in the United States.

The AIMA Hong Kong endorsed conference will feature speakers from some of the leading alternative investment houses in Asia, including: Myriad Asset Management Limited, Tybourne Capital Management, SC Lowy, Marshall Wace, the D. E. Shaw Group., Oasis Management, and Nine Masts Capital.
